IS JADE-STAHL operates two stationary presses used to bundle chips and metals.
The finished bundles are supplied to the semi-finished products industry, smelting works and
foundries.
Chip Press (Bach Press)
The chip press compacts wet and dry aluminium chips into bundles. The chips are delivered loosely in a container, dumped into a chip bunker and pushed to a conveyor screw by bulldozer. The chips are then transported by screw conveyor from the bunker to the charging hopper of the press and compacted. The processing emulsion that accumulates is caught and passed on for environmentally friendly disposal.
The bundles are produced in a size of 40 cm x 40 cm and, depending on the input material, a maximum length of 75 cm.
Scrap Press (Hentschel Press)
The scrap press compacts chips, blanking waste as well as aluminium and copper wire into bundles. The input material is delivered loosely in a container or box. It is loaded into the charging hopper of the press with the help of a stationary crane and then compacted.
The bundles are produced in a size of 30 x 30 cm and, depending on the input material, a maximum length of 60 cm.
The press is also used for contract work.
